I got to looking at myself in the mirror the other day--really looking--and in the words of the President played by Mel Brooks in Spaceballs:

"Why didn't anyone tell me my ass was so big?!?!?"

What I did on Halloween

Yeah, you know...now that November is almost half-over, I'll get to my Halloween fun. ^^

Well, for one--I made a new friend in the area! Yay! melycertia lives like half an hour away, so not too bad. We putzed around for like...um...two or three days online, trying to figure out what we wanted to do that Friday. Finally we came up with an old stand-by: make a costume by any means necessary and go scare kiddies trick-or-treating at the mall.

(Mall ppl are cheap bastards. They give out awful candy. Just so you know.)

My costume was very sad--especially compared to Mel, who made a kick-ass shamaness...type...person with a headpiece made up of small raccoon tails and a fox head skin. She also had really cool cat eyes contacts. So jealous. >.< As for me--I went as something that had to be explained repeatedly. I went as a kindergoth. Long black skirt, snarky t-shirt over a fishnet shirt, striped stockings, stompy boots, too much make-up, and some really crap-looking jewelry. Well, not crap by itself, but all together? Yeah. Sad. I also threw on a pair of bat wings and a pair of little purple bat ears that I got from Party City. Whoo! Kindergoth! Yeah. If only I could have found my all my fur bits. =(
