Bigger crabitat

Yeah so...I got the crabbies a bigger home today. PetSmart has cover and aquarium combos for your little reptile buddies, from a 5.5 gallon all the way up to some big ass number that costs $70.

The crabs got the 5.5 gallon set-up.

I also got this neat fiber stuff that comes in a little brick. Crab lady said fiber stuff is good. And it's all natural stuff that can be ingested. So I'll try it, and if that doesn't work, then I'll go find them sand. Now they just need climbing stuff. And shells. And next month I may get one of those undertank heating numbers for $17.

Of course, this all may be for naught, as those rotten pests won't eat. >_< They won't eat anything! I'm getting worried. o.O

So I got the crabbies new shells. Only I think they're a little big...or a little heavy. I didn't have that new aquarium set up and the shells in there and the crabs in there 3 minutes before Xelloss zipped out of his shell and into the fruitiest new one.

My fault for calling him Xelloss. =\

Only...it really is too big for him. And too heavy. And he's struggling to move in it and he keeps flipping onto his back and getting stuck that way for a full two minutes before FINALLY getting flipped back over...but yet he won't switch back to the old shell. Yet. Hopefully the stubborn little fool will get sick of not being able to crawl and get back in the old shell, which is LYING RIGHT THERE, so GET BACK IN IT, MISTER!

*sigh*

Why do I always get the stubborn pets?
