thistledearWell, my poor little NEC computer went belly up. Well, it didn't quite go belly up, but it was making a noise that said it the power supply was going out. So I sighed, and I came to my parent's house a day earlier than I was going to.
Anyway, I found a pretty neat deal at Circuit City, but the only way I was getting the financing was if I got a Circut City card. Well, I have no credit rating, people. But my mom put her name on the card too, and now I've got a credit card. =D Yay! Credit shall be MINE!
So now I have a new computer. I have a Sony Vaio, guys. I am droooooling here. The tower itself was $799, right? Well, when I went to check out, they had none in stock. They couldn't find one *anywhere*. They finally figured out it was because Circuit City had decided to stop carrying that particular computer. Not for any bad reason--they probably just wanted to carry more E-machines. *rolls eyes* So they just sold me the floor model. I got it for $689 and tax. I was dancing. It has a DVD-RW!!! And a CD-RW...and a CD-ROM... and a Pentium 4, though I can't remember exactly what it runs at. Damn, I wish I had my stats here.
Hehe...my friend Chris was jealous. ^___^ *hugs her new baby*
