Whooooooooo! Arch does care!
Somehow last year I got signed up for the Advance EIC (Earned Income Credit) Credit, which meant I got a little more in each paycheck than I realized. Not knowing the federal tax tables by heart, I didn't know this. It doesn't show up on the paycheck stub. I didn't have a clue until I got my W-2 this year and found the EIC credit for $125.02.
Which I was going to have to pay back in its entirety.
Shyeah right!
I got here this morning and started an email bitch to payroll, and they're actually going to refund me the $125.02 to pay it with. Yay! So now I'm back to owing $168 rather than the near $300. Yeah!
